Vacances d’Hiver – Winter Vacation

We will be starting our vacances d’hiver (winter vacation) tomorrow.  During the winter holiday season in France (which started on February 11th this year and will end on March 12th), winter resorts such as the one below in Courchevel (in the French Alps) get really crowded (as well as the roads to get there!) so keep this in mind if you visit France during the winter holiday season.  For us, no sports d’hiver (winter sports) — simply a winter retreat to re-source a little bit but we’ll miss our daily visit with you.  We will be back with more of our winter recipes to share with you (planning on enjoying a few of them) when we get back on Monday March 12th so stay tuned.  And if we can, we will update our Video du Jour as access to internet connection permits so if you have not joined the Art of the Home community yet, make sure to sign up to our FREE newsletter to get alerted each time a Video du Jour is updated over the next couple of weeks.
