Tip to Quickly Dry Delicate Clothes Without Damaging Them

Today, we are offering a laundry tip on how to dry those delicate clothes that require hand-washing (cashmere sweater, hosiery, bras, etc).  It’s quick, easy and more importantly reduces potential damage to the delicate fibers of garment needing special care.  The first step is to find an old salad spinner that is not being used. For example, our old Moulinex salad spinner does a great job.  It leaves clothing less wrinkled and does not stretch fabric as much as if we wrung the clothes to remove the excess water. Art of the Home Tip – after hand-washing your clothes, place them in a large unused salad spinner without wringing them.  Spin it several times (could take quite a few times but it’s worth it, your special garment will be grateful!).  Empty the water each time.  Finally, depending in the type of delicate garment, hang it (hosiery, panties, etc.) or lay flat to dry (cashmere, wool, etc.), and voilà!
