Art of the Home Tips: Simply fill up a bassin with warm to hot water. Drop in a handful of rock salt in the bassin. Soak your feet for about 10 minutes. The warm temperature of the water increases blood flow within your body (skin, muscles) which stimulates your immune system and helps reduce tension. When you’re done, rinse your feet in cold water and make sure to dry your feet thoroughly. You are ready to enjoy a nice evening or simply a good night rest!

- Feel free to massage and clean your feet at the same time. At Art of the Home, we use a savon de Marseille (Marseille soap) for our “bain de pieds” (foot bath) routine but you can use your favorite soap. Both your hands and feet will feel so soft afterwards.
- Grab a magazine and put on the radio.
- Take it outside: when the weather is great, enjoy your foot bath on the deck, balcony or the lawn — pure joy!
