First White Peaches of the Season for Easy Peach Melba
Peaches feel like summer so imagine our joy when we found some fragrant white peaches at a local store a few days ago. And although they smelled like they were just picked from a peach tree, we did not find them at the farmers market but at a warehouse store, if you can believe it! They were shipped from California. There are so many ways you can enjoy peaches. We do save yellow peaches for homemade peach preserves but white peaches make such simple healthy dessert. Keep the skin or blanch to remove the skin and you can add slices to a yogurt or place thick slices (or halves) on top of vanilla ice cream and top with some Chantilly cream for an easy pêche Melba (peach Melba) - si bon! Just a few simple ideas to feel “peachy”…enjoy and bon appétit!
